Cellist
As a cellist, Dr. Elliott has performed with orchestras under conductors from The Metropolitan Opera and La Scala and given recitals across the United States and Europe.

As a teaching artist, Dr. Elliott has taken her mastery of music and the arts as technical tools to design creative solutions to social issues impacting communities.
Educator
As an educator, Dr. Elliott has designed and served as head of fine arts programs for middle, high, charter, and private schools in the United States.
Speaker
As a speaker, Dr. Elliott specializes in integrating trauma-informed principles and practices within communities and organizations to nurture mental health well-being.
Dr. Kyna Elliott graduated Summa Cum Laude with a doctorate in leadership specializing in international education. Her dissertation titled ‘Arts Integration on Intercultural Competence in International Undergraduate Students: A Qualitative Study’ was published in 2020. In 2021 Kyna authored a chapter titled ‘Trauma-Informed Leadership in the 21st Century’ for the education resource book ‘Barriers for Teaching 21st-Century Competencies and the Impact of Digitalization’ published by IGI Global. Kyna has a bachelor's and master's in cello performance and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music graduate program. She is a member of the international honor society Kappa Delta Pi and Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity. Combining her specialties of leadership, international education, trauma, and the arts, she continues to work with marginalized communities using music and the arts as a tool for resiliency and social change.
