MEET DR. ELLIOTT

                    

Dr. Kyna Elliott graduated Summa Cum Laude with a doctorate in leadership specializing in international education. Her dissertation titled ‘Arts Integration on Intercultural Competence in International Undergraduate Students: A Qualitative Study’ was published in 2020. In 2021 Kyna authored a chapter titled ‘Trauma-Informed Leadership in the 21st Century’ for the education resource book ‘Barriers for Teaching 21st-Century Competencies and the Impact of Digitalization’ published by IGI Global. Kyna has a bachelor's and master's in cello performance and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music graduate program. She is a member of the international honor society Kappa Delta Pi and Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity. Combining her specialties of leadership, international education, trauma, and the arts, she continues to work with marginalized communities using music and the arts as a tool for resiliency and social change.
